Corey founded Fortified Futures, Inc., in 2018 after several years in financial services, serving individuals, employer groups, and Medicare beneficiaries. In 2019, Corey earned his Series 65 to become a registered investment advisor representative with a primary focus on preparing his clients for retirement and estate planning. Corey is passionate about helping clients better understand their overall wellness needs through each stage of life. His understanding of the fast-changing health insurance landscape led him to launch Fortress Health, working to build a shield around his client’s fiscal and physical health. Service, integrity & innovation are driving pillars to deliver the highest level of service for his clients while maintaining a focus on their wallet, not his.
Christian brings a wealth of knowledge to our leadership team with 12+ years of experience in the healthcare industry. He is Corey’s right hand in driving the firm’s vision. Christian oversees our administrative operations and back office of the firm, collaborating with Corey to maintain proficiency with practices, policies, and procedures within the organization.
Jesse has worked in the financial services industry for over a decade, in multiple roles. This experience has been instrumental in his decision to join Fortress Health. Prior to joining Fortress Health, Jesse worked at TransAmerica Agency and Wells Fargo in their insurance and wealth planning divisions.
Diana comes to Fortress Health with 30+ years of marketing and sales experience. She holds a master’s degree in theology and is currently working on her Ph.D. in leadership studies. She is devoted to helping both individuals and employer groups navigate the complex healthcare landscape.
Luis has been assisting Medicare beneficiaries for ten years and enjoys bringing awareness to marginalized communities about the assistance available to them. He enjoys nature, hiking, and volunteering at local food banks and clinics. You may recognize his friendly face as a volunteer for The Shalom Project of Winston-Salem where he serves as a front-line screener and interpreter and serves as a member of their board.
Mitch has 16 years’ experience in the employee benefits sector and over a decade of agent training under his belt. He has coached over 100 insurance agents, many of whom are still in the business today and wildly successful. Mitch was the #1 producer at his previous firm and has broken every sales record there was to break, after developing a t team that has produced over $22 million in the last 10 years. As our VP of Group Benefits, he brings a wealth of knowledge, resources and commitment to serving our clients seamlessly.
Lilia is a human resource executive with over 20 years of consulting and operational experience. She has a unique combination of strengths, including experience in HRIS technology and organizational psychology. Lilia has many years of experience in the following industries: healthcare, manufacturing, securities, digital banking, and insurance. She actively influences organizational change by developing and implementing innovative strategies in support of workforce engagement. She transcends conventional management practice to generate immediate and long-term results and transforms traditional HR departments into value-adding business partners contributing to bottom-line organizational success. She has a degree in Human Resource Development and is a Certified Human Resource Consultant and Benefits Specialist.
Karen has over 12 years of health insurance experience and is licensed to sell health, life, and Medicare. She is passionate about ensuring her clients are well protected and making sure they understand their options and their plans. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending quality time with her husband and two dogs.
Jorie is a national Advertising Executive. Her career spans 23-years in B2B Sales, Business Development, Branding and Marketing. She has gained valuable expertise from her experience in multiple industries throughout her career. Her top priority has always been for her clients to achieve success by helping them reach their goals through increasing efficiency and profitability.
Ana was born in Cuba and lived in Chile, Peru, and Venezuela before moving to Barcelona, Spain. Ana graduated from the American High School in Barcelona and moved to Washington DC to attend college at Georgetown University where she graduated from Georgetown with a BSFS, School of Foreign Service eventually working for the World Bank.
After her husband and parents passed away, she moved to North Carolina and became licensed in health and group benefits, eventually landing with Fortress Health. Ana is passionate about helping others and is extremely dedicated to her client base and providing them with the highest level of service. Ana is fluent in four languages – (Spanish, English Portuguese & French)
Emily is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the finance and healthcare industries. She joined us, in 2022, after spending 4.5 years as a Business Operations Specialist and Event Planner, at a large health insurance firm. Her focus is to support Corey with building the Fortress Health brand and making it a household name.
