Individual and family plans through the health insurance marketplace are the logical next step for self-employed individuals and families or upon losing employer coverage prior to Medicare. These plans provide the same level of benefits that you will have been used to; although they are no longer subsidized by the employer.
Affordable Care Act (ACA) Plans provide an affordable option with essential care benefits, including prescription drug coverage. You may even qualify for an income subsidy.
